DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN DAKAR
Today you arrive at the international airport of Dakar, the capital city of Senegal. Your guide will greet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Depending on the time of arrival, we will head into the city to visit the iconic African Renaissance Monument, look out over the panoramic views of the city and Atlantic Ocean, and have a look at the bustling markets of Sandaga, where we can immerse ourselves in the vibrant colors, sounds, and flavors of Senegalese culture.
DAY 2: GORÉE ISLAND
After breakfast, we will take the ferry to the island of Gorée. This island off the coast of Dakar holds profound historical significance as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
