About the event
The Ogobagna Festival is an annual cultural event in Bamako, Mali, celebrating the rich heritage of the Dogon people. Scheduled end of january untill beginning of february, at the Place du Cinquantenaire, this festival offers a vibrant array of traditional activities and performances.
Experience the mesmerizing Dogon mask dances, a sacred tradition showcasing intricate wooden masks that symbolize the connection between heaven and earth. Watch performers bring mythology to life in this captivating display of art and storytelling.

There is plenty of oppertunity to also get hands-on with Malian culture through interactive workshops, including bogolan (mud cloth) dyeing.
