DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN BAMAKO
Your adventure begins as you board your flight to Bamako, the vibrant capital of Mali. Arriving in the early hours, you’ll be greeted at the airport and transferred to Hotel Tamana (or a similar accommodation). Bamako, situated along the Niger River, is known for its lively markets, rich music scene, and diverse cultures. Settle in and rest up for the journey ahead.
DAY 2: BAMAKO TO SÉGOU
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Ségou, the charming capital of the Bambara people. This city, known for its tree-lined avenues, colonial district, and bustling river port, offers a relaxed yet culturally rich atmosphere. Along the way, marvel at the towering baobab trees and picturesque villages. Ségou was once the capital of the Bambara Kingdom, and its history is reflected in its architecture and traditions.
